Pupils create "Elsie Boxes" for Homeless!

We had the amazing John Gilbert come into Enfield Heights and give an assembly on the significance of homelessness.

In order to do a little to help, each year he encourages people to put together a shoe box containing some useful items which he distributes to homeless people around the country

His assembly was to bring this to the children’s attention and encourage them to help with this campaign if at all possible.

Our pupils then created the boxes dubbed the "Elsie Boxes" and filled them essential items like socks, gloves, hats, deodorant and toothpaste.

At Enfield Heights we are very proud of the work our pupils do in our local community.
