Enfield Heights PTA art night a success!

Art night at Enfield Heights

Our amazing PTA put on a fantastic art night for reception and year 1 pupils.

The pupils got the opportunity to learn from local artist Lisa Howe from Art Stop who spoke to them about the famous Mona Lisa and gave them a lesson on how to use a paintbrush. The lesson was great and the pupils were interested from start to finish.

"They learnt so much about the World's most famous painting, the Mona Lisa. Lisa Lowe also gave them a mini tutorial on the correct way to hold a paintbrush, then were released to unleash creatively on canvas from their imagination - Abstract Art! They weren't restricted on what they could paint, just as long as it was on A5 canvas, and they were taught to incorporate their "mistakes" into making it beautiful." - Andrea Simmons (PTA Chair)
