The children have been enjoying going on a journey of discovery finding out about delicious food from different countries.
They are learning to recognize that people across the globe eat different foods.
Year 1 did a fantastic job making a traditional Turkish pastry called Elmali Kurabiye.
Apples, icing sugar, cinnamon, and caster sugar are combined and cooked in sweet pastry to produce a delicious treat.
It was so tasty in fact that we were lucky enough to get a photograph before everything was gone!
