Learning about money hits the sweet spot.
This week, Year 2 children at our hub school have been learning about money.
To support their learning, a sweet shop was set up by our teachers to allow the hub children to purchase some items for themselves.
Children were able to buy a variety of sweets, which helped them become more familiar with coins and calculations to see if they had enough money to purchase what they wanted.
Our pupils also practiced giving change back to the customer.
