Year 1 pupils love their design and technology lessons
Year 1 has been learning about food from around the world for one of their topics this term.
The topic is called “The world on my plate” and it teaches children about food from different countries.
During their design and technology lessons, year 1 has been researching famous foods from a specific country.
In their latest investigation, pupils have been looking into the production of Apples and where they originate from.
Through their research, the children found out that Apples originate from the mountains in Kazakhstan.
